In Memory

Jim Cottington

Sunday, December 11, 2016.

Our friend Jim Cottington had a serious heart attack last Sunday, December 4th. They put in a stint that same evening, however he did not and has not recovered (consciousness). He was placed in hospice care, and passed away this morning.

Jim was a integral part of putting on our very successful 50th reunion, and put in many hours producing the class video retrospective we all enjoyed so much.

This is part of our lives, to pray, to rejoice, to mourn, to find joy in this life and the life to come. As we all celebrate Christmas season, we are blessed to know each other, love each other, and count ourselves as friends. God Bless you all, and God Bless Jim.

Jim was a great friend. From confirmation through High School we shared many good times. We double dated during the High School Graduation celebration and shared together many memories at our 50th Reunion. Jim was a faithful man who regularly volunteered at St. Luke's Lutheran Church. May all his family and friends know the consolation of our Lord Jesus during this time of mourning.
