Paul Bollenbach

Paul Jacob Bollenbach, age 68, passed away April 8, 2016, after nine years of life with cancer.  Paul was born September 16, 1947, to Orvin and Vanita (Voss) Bollenbach and grew up on the home farm in the township of Middleton.  He graduated from Middleton High School, obtained an Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering from Herzing College and served six years in the Air National Guard.  Paul spent his professional career in the electrical industry selling electrical products for numerous manufacturers and managing sales regionally and nationally.He was united in marriage to Joan Quimby on September 23, 1967, and they have celebrated 48 years of marriage. Paul enjoyed traveling extensively with his wife and family to places across the world, across the country, and up north to his much-loved cabin in Minocqua. Paul's interests were wide-ranging from alpine ski racing to fishing with his friends to playing guitar.  He could fix, engineer or build most anything.  He took great pride in the fact that he was the only one to ever work on his '65 Corvette that he owned for forty -eight years.  Paul is survived by his wife Joan; his children, Julie (Paul) Svendsen and Brent (Julie) Bollenbach; two grandchildren Sam and Nora; three brothers; Gary (Robie),  Lee (Kathy),  and Charles (Bev); and 7 nieces and nephews. He is also survived by a close extended family and many wonderful friends.
